Your mind knows no boundaries when it comes to where it can go.
You can travel back in time, and you can go forward into the future.
While there’s nothing inherently wrong with letting your mind wander, it's problematic when you get stuck in a negative cycle of what-if’s.
And as an entrepreneur, that is when you limit your own potential for growth.
It hinders you from moving forward in the present, as you worry about what could go wrong in the future, or when you replay a past you wish had gone differently.
You ruminate about all the things that previously didn’t go right, rather than seeing them for the valuable lessons they impart. You downplay your true desires of reaching and impacting more people, because you fear you’ll never be able to attain it.
And so the doubt creeps in:
Will people care about what I have to say?
Who am I, to think so big?
Am I good enough to do this?
But you see, if you’re reading this email, it means that you want to make a difference in the lives of people in this world.
That desire is all you need, and I want you to hold tightly onto that.
That’s what fuels you to keep putting one foot in front of the other, each and every day. And that’s what keeps you coming back to your bigger vision of helping people in a way that only you know how.
What you need isn’t about collecting more knowledge or trainings...it’s about giving yourself permission to be seen and heard.
All of this, because your audience will feel your desire to help them.
Wherever you’re at today, please take a moment to remember that the present is all you really have. So make the most out of it while it's here.
